What it is?

It’s 12-month development programme which gives an innovative and hands-on 360 view of the technical and non-technical applications deemed critical to the HVAC industry.

It aims to attract and develop high potential graduates who have distinguished themselves through high academic achievement at recognised universities.

Potential candidates will be taken through a rigorous but structured selection process including:  formal interviews, presentations and psychometric tests. 

Those who are successful will then begin their development programme which combines on-the-job training across key functions with short-term projects and formal training opportunities.

The program includes:

  • Induction – 2-weeks of structured corporate and technical inductions across all the functions and branches.
  • Business skills training – a range of business and communication skills training courses to support professional development. This will target effective business and technical writing, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical training – specialised HVAC technical training delivered by field experts.
  • Rotations – a programme of cross-departmental rotations to ensure a comprehensive understanding of different business areas, while building internal and external professional networks.
  • Professional development opportunities – exposure to special projects, conferences, events, market research and presentations.

At the end of the programme, candidates will be offered permanent employment - with an accelerated career progression track -  within a Taqeef business unit that best matches their interests and skills.

Who we look for?

As our roles are highly technical, we look for degree holders preferably in an engineering related discipline. However, we also need people who are great team players, passionate about engineering and sales and innovative and creative thinkers.

Graduates must meet the following criteria to be selected for the assessment stage:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with a GPA 3.2 (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated by a sales or engineering environment
  • Demonstrable leadership, creativity, proactivity and adaptability skills
  • Maturity, intelligence and confidence

What we offer?

The starting salary for a graduate will be AED5,000. After a successful probationary period, the salary will be increased to AED5,500.

In addition, the following benefits will apply:

  • Medical Insurance
  • Annual return ticket to home country after completion of 12 months of service with Taqeef
  • Sim card and laptop
  • A monthly AED2,500 in lieu of accommodation (only during the programme period of 12 months)
  • A monthly transportation allowance of AED500 (only during the programme period of 12 months)
  • Annual leave of 22 working days after completion of 12 months of service with Taqeef

Those graduates who successfully complete the programme will be offered an entry level engineering, finance or sales position .  The role will be based in any location in the UAE, depending on business needs.

Graduates will be expected to remain with Taqeef for a minimum of 24 months upon completion of the graduate development programme.
