Tariq Al Ghussein is a Palestinian born British businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He joined Taqeef in 1992, transforming the local retail business into the global Air Conditioning powerhouse it is today.
As CEO for 30 years, Tariq oversaw the company’s sustained and strategic growth; orchestrating its development into new markets, driving new product innovations, instilling professional service disciplines, and building lasting collaborations with the world’s best cooling technologists.
Taqeef’s products and service now set the standard for excellence in the industry and feature in the best of the region’s commercial and domestic developments.
As Chairman, Tariq continues to work closely with Tuna and the Leadership Team, mapping out the long-term future of Taqeef with a focus on governance and strategic investment.
Tariq has a BEng in Civil Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
